Head of the Georgian Parliament met with his Spanish counterpart

Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili, who is on a working visit to Madrid, met with Chairman of the Senate of Spain Ander Gil.

According to the press release of the Parliament of Georgia dated November 22, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation. Papuashvili briefed his counterpart on Georgia’s progress towards EU and NATO membership.

For his part, Ander Gil tweeted after the meeting that “Spain and Georgia have the best bilateral cooperation in renewable energy, infrastructure and tourism.” “We will continue to promote our cooperation,” he added.
