The New Hospitals Tbilisi multidisciplinary clinic has been selected by the Pentagon Health Agency and the insurance company SOS International as a provider of medical services to the US military and their families while in Georgia.

The contract was concluded under the TRICARE program of the US Department of Defense health agency, the clinic said in a statement.

TRICARE program members — military and civilian agencies — provide medical services throughout the United States and around the world. Thanks to this, military personnel and other categories of Americans related to the Pentagon can receive qualified medical care on preferential terms, regardless of their place of service and residence.

New Hospitals has become a TRICARE partner after a long process of selection and rigorous screening. The authorization process that New Hospitals has gone through requires compliance with the strict criteria of the TRICARE program and the provision of medical services according to Western standards.

New Hospitals has been operating in the Georgian market since 2011, offering inpatient and outpatient services. The clinic serves Georgian and foreign patients daily. Since its foundation, the clinic’s in-patient department has received 230,000 patients, and the outpatient clinic – almost a million and a half.
