Salome Zurabishvili to give a lecture at Oxford

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili will deliver a lecture at the Oxford Union as part of the annual Benazir Bhutto Memorial Lectures series today in Oxford, UK.

At the Oxford Union, the president of Georgia will be met and received by the president of the union, Ahmed Nawaz. The Benazir Bhutto Memorial Lecture at the Oxford Union was founded by British Prime Minister Theresa May and has herself lectured alongside David Cameron as part of the cycle.

The President of Georgia became the first non-British to give a lecture. In addition, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was one of the presidents of the union.
