The district court of The Hague announced the decision on the “case of the crash of the passenger Boeing” of “Malaysian Airlines” in the Donetsk region in July 2014.

The court concluded that flight MH17 was shot down by a Buk missile fired from the Pervomaisky area near the town of Snezhnoye.

The Court considers that at the time of the plane crash, Russia had effective control over the leaders and supporters of the self-proclaimed DPR in eastern Ukraine.

The Court considers that since mid-May Russia has provided training for the so-called military. DPR, the supply of weapons and food, exercised a serious influence on the so-called politicians. DPR, coordinated the military actions of the separatists and itself undertook military operations in the east of Ukraine

Airliner MH17 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur with 298 people on board was shot down on July 17, 2014. There were 80 children among the passengers. The governments of the Netherlands and Australia have officially blamed Russia for the 2014 crash of a Malaysian Airlines passenger plane in the Donetsk region.
