“Against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine, cooperation with our partner Georgia is becoming even more important,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said ahead of a meeting of the Council of EU Defense Ministers in Brussels.

“The Foreign Ministry will be in Bucharest at the end of November. At this summit, we will have the opportunity to express our strong support for Ukraine. We will discuss how we can increase support for Ukraine. We will also discuss the implementation of NATO decisions on defense and deterrence. We will also meet with our partners, and Georgia is an important partner, especially against the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Now it is even more important to work with such partners as Georgia. I am sure that this will be one of the messages planned in Bucharest at the Ministerial of Foreign Affairs,” Stoltenberg said.
