Many people say that the law on deoligarchization leads to more polarization in the country, yes, it causes even more polarization, although the EU has never demanded the adoption of a special law on deoligarchization, said Estonian Ambassador to Georgia Rina Kaliurand.

According to her, if all other laws aimed at combating corruption are updated, reformed and improved, then there will be no need for a special law on deoligarchization.

“I think we all know what we mean by deoligarchization. This is an attempt to separate money and politics. I think that deoligarchization means fighting corruption, strengthening and improving any legislation that helps to eradicate corruption,” said the Estonian Ambassador.
