According to the Agency for Refugees, 88 Georgian citizens who returned from emigration will receive a grant to create a source of income, employment and promote self-employment.

The state program implemented by the agency to assist returned migrants and eco-migrants serves the purpose of supporting the process of their reintegration, as well as providing a source of livelihood. Program participants themselves choose the necessary equipment and inventory to start or expand their activities.

It is important that after returning to their homeland they have a source of income and they do not have to leave the country. The Agency twice a year announces the acceptance of applications from those wishing to receive funding for the implementation of profitable projects. The state program of assistance in reintegration also provides for the promotion of vocational education, the provision of medical care and temporary housing.

The list of returned migrants who will be granted a grant is published on the agency’s website.
