Ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine arrived in Kherson

On November 21, 2022, Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Giorgi Zakarashvili, together with the heads of diplomatic missions of Ukraine’s partner countries, visited Nikolaev and the recently liberated Kherson. This was reported by the Georgian Embassy in Ukraine.

“During the visit, the ambassador, together with his colleagues, got acquainted with the difficult humanitarian situation on the ground, and also held meetings with representatives of local authorities, where the Ukrainian side voiced information about the current situation and the needs of the regions and the population living in them affected by the war.

During the meetings, Georgia’s firm and unwavering support for Ukraine was emphasized. It was also noted that active work both in terms of political and humanitarian assistance will be continued,” the embassy said in a statement.
