According to the US Ambassador to Georgia, Kelly Degnan, the state of health of former President Mikheil Saakashvili is under active monitoring. As the ambassador noted, it is important that Saakashvili get everything that is guaranteed by the Constitution to any citizen of Georgia.
“As for Mikheil Saakashvili, we continue to monitor the state of his health. We are in regular contact with the Office of the Public Defender, including today, to inquire about Saakashvili’s health and well-being. We will continue monitoring in this direction, including ensuring that Saakashvili receives what every citizen of Georgia deserves and what is guaranteed by the Constitution of Georgia,” Kelly Degnan said.
