We always meet with our Georgian partners, we use all formats and platforms for this, we welcome and support Georgia’s aspiration to join NATO, this is our unshakable position, which Turkey speaks on all platforms, said Vice President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Osman Askin Baki after meetings with the Georgian parliamentary delegation.
“Our ministers are constantly talking about this with NATO forces. Georgia is our friend and neighbor, and we have very good cooperation in commercial, industrial, defense and logistics areas. Our trade continues to grow. Everyone must firmly support the accession from the Caucasus region of Georgia, this is the position of Turkey. We have confirmed this to our Georgian colleagues here in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly,” said Osman Askin Baki.
