The Penitentiary Service of Georgia has not received an official conclusion on the possible poisoning of Saakashvili

The Special Penitentiary Service issued a statement according to which no one provided the Special Penitentiary Service with an official conclusion confirming the accuracy of the information disseminated by the lawyer of the convicted Mikhail Saakashvili about the possible poisoning of a person under his protection.

“Convicted Saakashvili is in the hospital under medical supervision, he is undergoing appropriate medical measures.

In order to avoid misinformation of the public, we urge everyone to refrain from disseminating unverified and unsubstantiated information,” the message says.
