We consider the decision of the European Union shameful, Georgia should have received the status of a candidate, – said the head of the Hungarian-Georgian friendship group Lorin Nasa in the format of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly after the meeting of the delegations of Georgia and Hungary.
According to Lorin Nas, the Hungarian parliament and government strongly support Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
“There was a very good meeting with Georgian friends. We talked about the Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia. We, both in the Hungarian parliament and in the government, strongly support Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration. We also talked about the EU summer decision, which we consider shameful. Georgia was to receive candidate status. We are very pleased that our Georgian friends are in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, where we can cooperate on security issues, our future and common interests. Forward, Georgia,” said the Hungarian parliamentarian.
