The pro-Russian Alt-Info party came second in terms of donations received

From January to September 2022, Georgian Dream received the largest amount of donations, followed by the pro-Russian Conservative Movement party, founded by the founders of Alt-Info.
According to Transparency Internetional Georgia (TI), during this period, 666,000 lari were donated to the ruling party, 393,611 lari to the Conservative Movement, and 370,600 lari to Lelo.
“National Movement” took fourth place (212,907 lari), fifth – “European Georgia” (130,484 lari).
According to TI, the absolute majority of those who donated money to Mechta are businessmen associated with Bidzina Ivanishvili or with the ruling party.
It should be reminded that in June, on the basis of an appeal from the Audit Service, the Tbilisi City Court fined the Conservative Movement for 217,000 lari for providing an incorrect declaration and concealing non-monetary donations.
