The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has stated that Russia “does not accept previous conditions regarding Ukraine”, particularly the requirement to withdraw the Russian troops.

Source: Alexander Grushko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, quoted by Kremlin-aligned news outlet RIA Novosti

Details: “No,” Grushko said, while answering to the question about whether the voiced condition of withdrawing the Russian forces was acceptable for the Russian Federation in negotiations about Ukraine.

Quote: “Such conditions are unacceptable. Our President has said multiple times that we are ready for negotiations, but they need to take the situation on the ground into account, indeed.”

Note: Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine could open negotiations with Russia after the return of all its territories within the borders of 1991, but there would be no return to the relations with Russia that existed before the war.
