As the company explains, this has saved hundreds of families from carbon monoxide (CO) intoxication and, in the worst cases, death.
At the same time, Tbilisi Energy calls on citizens to be especially responsible for the safety of their families and neighbors, and to comply with the necessary rules for the safe consumption of gas, which are posted on the company’s website te.ge and its official Facebook page.
Tbilisi Energy also publishes statistics on the use and shutdown of makeshift gas installations in accordance with the most dangerous districts of Tbilisi, with Isani, Samgori and Vazisubani in the first place. According to the company, Tbilisi Energy specialists have shut down a total of 517 artisanal installations in these areas, and the company says most of them have been turned off again.
