The Russian Armed Forces lost close to 740 personnel on 9 November.

Details: The General Staff reported that Russia suffered their heaviest losses on the Lyman and Avdiivka fronts.

Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 10 November 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:



  • approximately 78,690 (+740) military personnel;
  • 2,804 (+3) tanks;
  • 5,682 (+16) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 1,805 (+3) artillery systems;
  • 393 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 205 (+0) air defence systems;
  • 278 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
  • 260 (+0) helicopters;
  • 1,499 (+16) operational-tactical UAVs;
  • 399 (+0) cruise missiles;
  • 16 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 4,242 (+15) vehicles and tankers;
  • 159 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.
