No negotiations between Russia and Western countries are being conducted behind Ukraine’s back, the Office of the President of Ukraine confirms.

Our partners adhere to the principle “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine”. Neither side will be able to ensure the implementation of agreements without the support of the Ukrainian people.”
- On 23 October, in a telephone conversation, Sergey Shoigu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, told his French counterpart Sébastien Lecornu that Ukraine is allegedly preparing provocations involving a “dirty bomb”.
- After that, Shoigu and the head of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, intensified telephone conversations with their Western colleagues about Ukraine’s allegedly planned “provocation”.
