Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili met with a member of the board of directors of one of the largest Japanese corporations ITOCHU, senior executive director Hiroki Tsubai.

According to the press service of the Georgian parliament, the parties discussed the favorable investment climate in Georgia and the country’s transit potential.

They also discussed the current and planned projects of the company in Georgia with renewable energy, urban infrastructure renewal and other areas.

The meeting took place within the framework of the current working visit of Shalva Papuashvili and his accompanying delegation to Japan.
