Israeli army destroys Iranian drone assembly center in Syria

The Israeli military airstrike near Damascus destroyed an assembly center for Iranian drones in Syria, covering it with bombs on Friday, October 21. It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the report of the Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Center (SOHR).

According to SOHR sources, military logistics and equipment used to assemble Iranian-made drones near a military airport in western Rif Damascus province were destroyed after direct Israeli missile fire.

In January 2022, shipments of weapons, ammunition and drone parts from Iran arrived at a military airport in the western Syrian countryside of Damascus, the report said.
