“Corruption=Death” – a protest rally takes place near the Tbilisi City Hall

After the death of a 13-year-old girl from an electric shock in Vaki Park, residents of the capital began to gather near the City Hall of Tbilisi. In their hands they hold a poster with the inscription: “Corruption = Death”.
As stated in the announcement of the protest action on Facebook, both the Tbilisi City Hall and the mayor himself must be held accountable for what happened.
“On New Year’s Eve, Freedom Square shines with lights and we are told that this is a city full of life. In fact, this is a city full of death,” said Teo Khatiashvili, one of the protesters.
