The meeting of the political council of the “National Movement” may be held on Friday

Presumably on Friday at the central office of the “National Movement” will be held a meeting of the political council of the party. This was stated by its member Gia Baramidze.

It is the council that must agree on the date of the election of the chairman of the party and the procedure for their conduct. Also, the council will decide on granting the status of a candidate to persons who have expressed a desire to participate in the elections. According to available information, those wishing to register as a candidate will need the votes of three to five deputies.

“The election commission will consist of five people, these will be members of the political council. One of them will be the chairman, and his election will be held separately. The chairman must be a special person, he must have trust from all sides. It really won’t be me. If we choose these five, then representatives of each candidate will be added to them by co-optation, from those candidates who will be registered by the council. If a participant falls ill, there will be a replacement. The lists of voters will be filtered so that outsiders, representatives of the Georgian Dream and other parties do not sneak in. There will be special groups to compile this list. Disputable issues will be discussed in the election commission,” Gia Baramidze said.
