Georgian Dream to continue consultations with opposition on candidates for Public Defenders

According to Mamuka Mdinaradze, chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, Georgian Dream will continue consultations with the opposition on eight candidates for Public Defenders.
According to Mdinaradze, these candidates are: Anna Bashidze, Giorgi Burjanadze, Lela Gaprindashvili, Tinatin Erkvania, Nugzar Kokhreidze, Georgi Marianidze, Ketevan Chachava and Iago Khvichia.
At the same time, according to Mamuka Mdinaradze, the continuation of consultations on these candidates does not mean that their majority is acceptable to the parliamentary majority.
“Continuing consultations on these candidates does not mean that their majority is acceptable to the parliamentary majority, but with the mentioned method of elimination, we came to the conclusion that it makes no sense to continue consultations on other candidates. Therefore, we will continue consultations with the opposition on these eight candidates,” Mamuka Mdinaradze said.
