The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia charged two persons with gang rape of a nun with particular cruelty and robbery. threatening violence, demanded money and jewelry from her.

Law enforcement officers detained the accused on November 26. They were charged under subparagraph “c” of the 3rd part and “a” subparagraph 4 of the part of Article 137 (rape committed by a group of persons with particular cruelty towards the victim) and “b” subparagraph of the 2nd part and “b » subparagraph 3 of part of article 179 (robbery committed by a group of persons, with illegal entry into an apartment (residential cell) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of fifteen to twenty years or indefinite imprisonment.

The prosecutor’s office will apply to the court with a motion to select for the accused as a measure of restraint detention within the period established by law.
