We hope that the support of these two countries will ultimately provide a political solution for Georgia, said Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament. He summed up the visit of the parliamentary delegation to the Kingdom of Spain and Portugal.
According to him, the support expressed at the meetings for the process of European integration of Georgia provides a political solution for Georgia. “We have heard support many times in both countries. It is important that Spain, which is to become the EU presidency in the second half of next year, will be our unconditional supporter on this path. It is also important that Portugal, which itself has come a long way to join the European family, will support us,” Shalva Papuashvili said.
