“Strategy Agmashenebeli (Builder)” expresses no confidence in the process related to the election of the Public Defender and does not participate in political consultations held in the Parliament of Georgia on this issue.
MP Paata Manjgaladze stated that Agmashenebeli’s Strategy submitted three candidates to the parliament recommended by non-governmental organizations for the position of Public Defender, and now it is the turn of the authorities to support one of them.
Paata Manjgaladze is convinced that Georgian Dream does not want to elect an independent candidate as the People’s Defender and is interested in promoting their candidate.
