Exchange military exercises held in Georgia as part of JCET

The instructors of the School of Sniper Training of the Georgian Defense Forces conducted a long-range shooting course for the military personnel of the French Foreign Legion.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, a two-week demonstration exercise was held at the training ground of the Special Purpose Training Center named after Major Gela Chedia, as part of the Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET).

“During the exercises, the servicemen performed shooting exercises at various distances under stressful conditions and received high marks from monitoring observers,” the agency said in a statement.

The sniper training course for the military countries of NATO was held in Georgia for the second time, the French legion also took part in it for the second time.
