According to him, the country’s authorities are doing everything to be able to fulfill the 12-point plan as soon as possible, which is important for the country to receive candidate status.
“All branches of government will do whatever is necessary to implement the 12-point plan. However, what decision will then be made regarding the granting of the status does not depend on us. We know who it depends on, and we also remember what political decision was made when Georgia was not granted candidate status. There were no explanations for this. We heard only vague explanations, as if they did not like our location. Everything will be done from our side,” Kakha Kaladze said.
In addition, Kaladze responded to the president’s criticism of the authorities regarding the implementation of the 12-point plan and said that “there are no grounds for this.”
