Speaker of Georgian Parliament to visit Spain and Portugal

Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili will visit Spain and Portugal on November 21-26 together with the delegation. The information is disseminated by the press service of the Parliament of Georgia.

The President of the Parliament will meet with the Speaker of the Senate of the Kingdom of Spain, the President of the Congress of Deputies of Spain and the President of the National Assembly of Portugal.

Meetings will be held with the chairmen of the foreign affairs committees of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies of Spain. Shalva Papuashvili is also scheduled to meet with the chairman of the committees of the National Assembly of Portugal and the executive secretary of the Commonwealth of Portuguese-Speaking Countries.

The President of the Parliament will take part in an event held at the Autonomous University of Lisbon, where he will meet with experts in the field of foreign policy and students of the Faculty of International Relations.

As part of the visit, a meeting with representatives of the Georgian diaspora in Spain and Portugal is planned.

The parliamentary delegation of Georgia includes Levan Ioseliani, David Songulashvili, Beka Odisharia, Levan Karumidze, Irma Zavradashvili and the head of the Cabinet of the Chairman of the Parliament Levan Makhashvili.
