Mikheil Saakashvili was poisoned, Valery Gelbakhiani, lawyer of the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, told IPN.

As the lawyer explains, he is talking about the poisoning of the third president on the basis of the conclusion of foreigners. According to him, Mikheil Saakashvili himself had such suspicions for a long time.

“This is the conclusion of the examination of foreigners. The research part contains data on which elements and particles were observed and for which toxic substances these particles are characteristic. There is a whole series of studies. And about what toxic substances we are talking about, we will talk later. I confirm the fact that he was poisoned,” Gelbakhiani says.

When asked if we are talking about such toxic substances as mercury, barium and potassium, Gelbakhiani answers: “There is such data, but we will have a detailed briefing about this,” Gelbakhani said.

As for when Mikheil Saakashvili was poisoned, while in prison or after he was transferred from prison to a clinic, Gelbakhiani explains that this requires an investigation, and he will tell the details at a briefing in two days.

“All diseases that Mikheil Saakashvili has can be caused by this poisoning. He is aware of this, and he himself has long suspected that he was poisoned. Otherwise, his illnesses would not have developed like this,” said Valery Gelbakhiani.
