Georgian wheelchair fencer Nino Tibilashvili won a gold medal at the World Championships in Hungary.

In the epee fencing semi-finals, she defeated the Hungarian Eva Haymas 15:11, and in the final she defeated the Ukrainian Yevgenia Breus 15:14 and brought the Georgian team the first medal of the highest category in the tournament.

The women’s wheelchair fencing team of Georgia continues its performance at the World Championships in Hungary.

Tomorrow, November 19, Irma Khetsuriani, Nina Tibilashvili and Gvantsa Zadishvili will try to win high quality medals in the foil competition.
