Member of the Georgian Parliament Aleko Elisashvili (“Citizens”) told from the parliamentary rostrum what happened when he heard the phrase “glory to Russia” in Tbilisi.
According to the deputy, he was categorically against the opening of borders and the arrival of Russian citizens in such a large number.
“Especially [против] the arrival of the most unworthy people, these are deserters. Georgia was filled with Russian deserters.
They arrived, but I am not in power, you are in power, you have made the decision and the responsibility is on you,” he said and added: “All Russian imperialists.”
After that, the deputy spoke about one incident.
“I will not hide. Recently, I had foreign guests, I walked down the street, shouted glory to Ukraine, and in response one shouted glory to Russia and got hit in the ears, ”the politician said.
