Georgia has made it clear to us that it considers EU membership a strong goal for peace and stability

“In the new geopolitical period, Georgia has clearly told us that it considers only EU accession as a strong enough goal for long-term peace, stability and prosperity,” European Commissioner for European Neighborhood and Enlargement Policy Oliver Varheli tweeted.

Varkheli notes that the European Union is ready to fulfill this promise to Georgia.

“I am in Georgia to say that we are ready to fulfill this message for Georgia,” writes Varkheli.
