Belarusian Invasion of Ukraine “Only a Matter of Time” – Shklyarov – Kyiv Post

The Belarusian military could directly participate in Russia’s war against Ukraine. Vitaly Shklyarov, the Belarusian and American political strategist, claims that Belarusians simply have no choice. He said this in an interview with Kyiv Post.

“An attack against Ukraine on the part of Belarusian troops is only a matter of time. And it seems to me there will be an offensive. Belarusians staying in the country have no choice… [that said] in early August, it became known that only 13,000 Belarusian servicemen had signed their consent to participate in the war against Ukraine… I still doubt this number,” Shklyarov asserted.

He also called on Ukrainians to help Belarusians build a new future: “They need to be taught, talked to, won over and convinced. We need to fight for the minds of Belarusians – that is more important than building a 1,084-km wall on the border.”

As reported, Ukraine has started the construction of a wall on the border with Belarus, in particular, in the Volyn, Rivne, and Zhytomyr regions.
