It will be possible to talk about negotiations with Russia in the second half of 2023

According to the leader of Ukraine’s ruling Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia, the possibility of negotiations with Russia may arise in the second half of 2023. Arakhamia writes about this on his Telegram page.

“Honestly, I think that this will be when the electoral cycles start to work both in Russia and in the United States, that is, it will be somewhere in the second half of next year, when the presidential races in the United States will already start. And besides, Putin will have elections in 2024. And everyone will need to demonstrate something politically.

I don’t think that Putin is able to demonstrate any military successes, so they may try to somehow demonstrate something to their people on the diplomatic front, ”Arakhamia believes.

In his opinion, now Russia is again raising the issue of negotiations, as it needs a respite to regroup and recuperate, which the Ukrainians will not allow.

According to Arakhamia, the President of Ukraine has already named the terms of negotiations with Moscow and they are unchanged.

“Restoration of territorial integrity, compensation for damage, punishment of war criminals, effective guarantees that this will not happen again,” Arakhamia wrote.
