Georgian public figure Nodar Natadze dies

Literary critic, linguist, deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia of the first convocation, one of the signatories of the Act on the Restoration of Independence of Georgia Nodar Natadze has died at the age of 93.

In 1957-1963, Nodar Natadze was a researcher at the Institute of Linguistics of the Georgian Academy of Sciences; and in 1963-1969 – researcher at the Institute of Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Georgia; since 1969 head of a department at the Institute of Philosophy of the Georgian Academy of Sciences; in 1990-1991 – Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia of the first convocation; he was among the signatories of the Act on the Restoration of State Independence of Georgia.

Nodar Natadze was the author of many scientific and journalistic works, monographs.
