Saakashvili was tested for tuberculosis

According to the lawyer of the third President of Georgia, Valery Gelbakhiani, Mikheil Saakashvili’s state of health is serious, he may be diagnosed with tuberculosis.

As Gelbakhiani told Interpressnews, yesterday Saakashvili underwent appropriate tests, the answers of which will be known in a few days.

“The tests were taken at the Republican Hospital. They wonder if he has tuberculosis. The results of the study are not yet known. He has a fever, the temperature does not subside, he is motionless. Probably, another disease was added in the form of tuberculosis. When he was transferred 6 months ago, there was nothing like this with him. When we raised the question that the diagnosis was wrong and the treatment was wrong, we were scolded. They accused us of making false statements. Now it turned out that, presumably, a previously unknown disease had been discovered. This disease met him during treatment. After all, they should explain to us that instead of recovering during the treatment period, he supposedly “caught” tuberculosis. He is in a serious condition, he is ill. He cannot move by himself. We tell the authorities that when the state is no longer able to protect human life and health, it must take measures, why not?” Valery Gelbakhiani said.
