Media center opened at Black Sea International University Tbilisi

A media center has been opened at the Tbilisi International Black Sea University (IBSU), where students of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications will practice.

The media center includes an editorial room, the so-called. newsroom, TV and radio studios equipped with studio and field video cameras, editing computers and other necessary stationary equipment.

According to the rector of the Black Sea International University Dr. Saffet Bayraktutan, the media center will help increase the productivity of students of both the faculty of journalism and other professions interested in media technologies, who will be able to gain practical experience in the media center.

Among the guests invited to the opening of the media center were Channel One General Director Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Palitra Holding Director Georgy Tevdorashvili, Fortuna Radio Holding General Director Tamar Chigogidze, Channel One Board of Trustees Member Bondo Mdzinarishvili, current journalists and university graduates.

Currently, the IBSU Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication has over 100 alumni and about 120 active students at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
