Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia Mahmoud Adeeb.

According to the press service of the Prime Minister of Georgia, at the introductory meeting the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, it was stated that 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
