GWP circulates a statement about the accidental damage to the central main water supply

Georgian Water and Power is issuing a special statement. According to the company’s statement, today, November 10, at 01:00 am, in the area of ​​the 16th kilometer of David Aghmashenebeli alley, not far from the exit from the city, there was an emergency damage to the GWP central main water supply.

To stop the large flow of water from the damaged section of the pipe, the company said the water supply had to be shut off.

“Emergency crews of the company have been mobilized on the spot, preparatory work is underway to eliminate the damage. Also, traffic is temporarily restricted and work is underway to clean the road.

In this regard, today, from 01:00 am on November 10 to 15:00 on November 10, water supply is limited on the streets of Vake-Saburtalo district, Vashlijvari village, Didi Digomi and Zages.

The company’s technical crews will work intensively throughout the night to repair the damage. The company will provide additional information on the progress of work.
