Ukraine has the ability to return Kherson

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said today that he believes Ukraine has the ability to retake Kherson and that “most importantly, Ukrainians believe they have the ability to do so.” “We’ve seen them act methodically and effectively to reclaim their sovereign territory. I think you’ll see them keep up the pressure.”
Earlier, the deputy head of the Russian administration of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, on the air of the Solovyov TV channel, suggested that Russian troops could be withdrawn to the left bank of the Dnieper. This will mean the surrender of Kherson, located on the right, western bank of the river.
Ukrainian officials, however, are very cautious in assessing what is happening. They admit that the Russian military may give the impression that they are leaving the settlements, while preparing for street fighting.
