Georgia’s accession to NATO is supported by 67% of Americans who took part in the Chicago Council poll – The Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

Admission to NATO Ukraine was supported by 73% of respondents.

According to the poll, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has refocused American attention on European security, a marked departure from past studies that focused American security interests on the Middle East.

“According to polls conducted by the Chicago Council for 50 years, American support for NATO and American military bases in Europe is now at its highest level,” the study says.

The Chicago Council poll was conducted from July 15 to August 1, with 3,106 participants. Accuracy +/- 1.8%.
