Russia attacks Kharkiv, city suffers partial blackouts

Russia has landed new attacks on the city of Kharkiv on the evening of 13 October. Kharkiv residents are urged to remain in shelters.

Quote from Syniehubov: “We are appealing to all Kharkiv residents: remain in shelters. The enemy is carrying out attacks on the [administrative] centre of [Kharkiv] Oblast [i.e, the city of Kharkiv].”



Details: Air-raid sirens were sounded in Kharkiv Oblast.

Updated at 21:06: Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that the city was hit by at least two missiles. There are issues with power supply in some of the city’s neighbourhoods.
