“In November, it is planned to bring another group of Ukrainian children from Chernihiv to Georgia,” Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Georgy Zakarashvili told Georgian First Channel.

As the Ambassador noted, the project will be implemented by the Embassy with the consent of the Georgian Parliament.

“In the summer, with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, we brought 50 children with accompanying persons, who spent a month on vacation in Adjara.

Now we are working on bringing another group, possibly in November, from Chernihiv, the region that suffered the most from the first days, and perhaps we will implement this project with the assistance of the Georgian Parliament. This group has already been formed and we are in the stage of buying tickets.

There were also projects on customs assistance. Such projects are being implemented every day, and we are working to help the Ukrainian people and our friendly country as much as possible,” the ambassador said.
