The border guards at the airports check the leaving men according to the lists received from the military registration and enlistment offices. If it turns out that a person is subject to mobilization, he is not allowed abroad, writes The Bell, citing sources in the aviation industry.

Not all those liable for military service are deployed, but those for whom subpoenas or mobilization orders have been issued. At the same time, travel restrictions apply not only to passengers, but also to crew members: pilots and flight attendants. In this case, a replacement is sought for the flight.

Information about the ban on the exit of a particular citizen enters the general information system of the border control “MIR” (all such bans are loaded into it – for example, from bailiffs). The database is updated more often than once every two hours.

In one of the Moscow airports over the past day, 20 men of military age did not cross the border. The same situation is in St. Petersburg, Fontanka writes. Border guards at Pulkovo airport refuse to leave the men from the lists and send them to the military registration and enlistment offices. At the same time, no one is detained or handed over.

The Roschino airport in Tyumen confirmed to the 72.RU portal that it had received lists from the military registration and enlistment offices and restricted the departure from Russia for those who are subject to mobilization. To cross the border, such citizens must present an exit permit from the military registration and enlistment office at the place of registration. The requirement does not apply to flights within the country.

According to statistics, 4% of Russians liable for military service could not leave the country on the evening of September 25 and on the morning of September 26, VPost notes, citing resources that collect data on crossing the border. Of the 500 reviews received, 20 turned out to be negative: senders reported that they were not allowed through border crossings at the borders of Kazakhstan, Georgia, Finland, as well as at Pulkovo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports. The border guards referred to the ban from the military registration and enlistment offices at the place of registration.

On September 26, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the authorities had not yet made a decision to close the borders. At the same time, Russians fleeing the mobilization began to be denied entry to Georgia and Kazakhstan. And the FSB sent an armored personnel carrier with the military to the Upper Lars checkpoint on the border with Georgia. The intelligence service explained that this was done “just in case, if the reservists want to break through the checkpoint and leave the country without completing any border formalities.

Deputy Prime Minister of North Ossetia Irbek Tomaev said that 3,500 cars had accumulated on the Russian-Georgian border. Approximately 800 cars are also queuing at the administrative borders with Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia.

Meanwhile, the border department of the FSB in the Kurgan and Tyumen regions reported on the ban on the exit of Russians subject to partial mobilization. “For all questions,” men are advised to contact the military registration and enlistment office.

Earlier, Meduza’s sources reported that citizens of draft age would be banned from leaving the country after “referendums” in the occupied territories of Ukraine. The likely date was 28 September. Meanwhile, such a ban has already appeared in mobilization orders in a number of Russian regions.

After September 21, 261,000 men of military age have already left Russia, according to Novaya Gazeta.ru. Europe” with reference to sources in the presidential administration.
