The exchanged Ukrainian prisoners of war are “guests of Turkey” who are “under control,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. His words are quoted by MK.

This is how Erdogan commented on the topic of the latest exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine. Earlier it was reported that an exchange of prisoners with Ukraine took place, within which 55 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Donbass and politician Viktor Medvedchuk were released. The Ukrainian side received 215 people during the exchange.

“200 people are under our control,” the Turkish leader said.

According to Erdogan, among others, the list of persons to be exchanged included the name of the person whom Russian President Vladimir Putin insisted on extradition.
