Garibashvili met with Nikol Pashinyan in New York

In New York, within the framework of the UN General Assembly, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to the press service of the government apparatus, the parties considered the main issues on the agenda of cooperation between the two countries. It was noted that the existing relations between the two countries are developing dynamically, which is a good basis for further expansion of cooperation.

Also, Irakli Garibashvili and Nikol Pashinyan reviewed the current situation in the South Caucasus and stressed the importance of the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

The head of the government of Georgia expressed his readiness to continue to play the role of a mediator and contribute to ensuring peace and stability in the region and beyond.
