Council of Europe confirms Georgia’s clear European perspective

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell responds to the 7th meeting of the Georgia-EU Association Council on Twitter.
Borrell writes that the Council of Europe has reaffirmed Georgia’s clear European perspective, and Georgia’s political forces should seize this historic opportunity to move forward on the path of the EU.
“After the Council of Europe confirmed Georgia’s clear European perspective, I presided over the meeting of the first EU-Georgia Association Council. The political forces of Georgia should seize this historic opportunity to move forward on the path of the EU. The European Union is ready to be with you on this path,” writes Josep Borrell.
