We have doubts about sanctions

“This is an absurd topic and commenting on absurd topics is also irrelevant. We remember the statements of specific representatives of the Ukrainian authorities on this matter. Accordingly, there is nothing new here,” said Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream party, answering a journalist’s question regarding the list published on one of the Ukrainian portals.

In particular, the Ukrainian site sanctions.nazk.gov.ua, which was created with the support of the country’s Foreign Ministry, contains data on individuals who, according to the same site, have not yet been affected by sanctions. Among them are Levan Vasadze, Otar Fartskhaladze, Sulkhan Papashvili, David Khidasheli, Vano Chkhartishvili, Tate Mamatsashvili, Ucha Mamatsashvili, Giorgi Kapanadze, Irakli Rukhadze, Ketevan Kharaidze, Alexander Ivanishvili, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

According to Kobakhidze, they do not want to make additional comments on this topic, since its content is absurd.

“This demand was directly made by one of their leaders, the same Arakhamia. There is nothing new in this. We doubt where, what, how it happens, but we don’t want to talk about it either. In general, we do not want to make additional comments on this topic, because it is absurd in its content,” Kobakhidze said.
