The mother of the victim, Natia Shengelia, told the media that when she came to visit her son today, she was told that he had a “penetrating wound” in the head area, a “total craniocerebral injury” and that he had an emergency operation.

“After being wounded, the victim was taken to the Caucasian Medical Center, where he underwent a surgical operation,” the Special Investigation Service said in a statement.
