The informants carried out reconnaissance and provided occupiers with accurate coordinates of the location of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including combat positions of HIMARS artillery rocket systems.

They also collected data on geolocation and operation of local critical infrastructure facilities.

It was established that using their intelligence the aggressors shelled the water management in Selidove town.

According to the investigation, the group was in contact with militants of terrorist organizations in the temporarily occupied territories in the East of Ukraine.

They transmitted the obtained intelligence through one of the officials of the so-called ‘DNR people’s militia’, providing him with photos and electronic maps with marked targets. For communication, they used the russian social network Vkontakte.

During the searches, the SSU found computer equipment, flash drives and mobile phones with evidence of intelligence and subversive activity.

SSU investigators have notified both detainees of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.7 of the CCU). The court has chosen to keep them in custody.

The special operation was carried out by the SSU Offices in Cherkasy, Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Cherkasy Region Prosecutor’s Office.
